React Job: Software Engineering, Analyst

55ip, a fully owned subsidiary of J.P Morgan Chase, is looking for an experienced software frontend (UI) developer to implement and maintain the user interface of its technology-enabled investment platform for large investment advisory (RIA) & wealth management firms. The ideal candidate for this role has successfully implemented and maintained web-based user interfaces. The candidate will be motivated, a problem solver, a team player, and a proficient software developer, looking to make a significant impact on a fast-growing business.

Responsibilities :

• End-to-end development, testing and maintenance of frontend (UI) software components
• Liaise with stakeholders to gather & understand the functional requirements

Qualifications / Skillsets:

• 1 - 4 years of experience in software development
• Proficient in ReactJS, Redux, HTML, CSS, and other UI related technologies
• Knowledge of AngularJS is nice to have
• Clear understanding of UI and UX design constructs and their implementation.
• Working proficiency in developmental toolsets such as PyCharm, Git, Jira, etc
• Understanding of the Agile Scrum software development lifecycle.
• Strong communication (written and oral) and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Strong sense of attention to detail, accountability, pride in delivering high quality work and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
• B.E / BSc degree or equivalent experience
• An understanding of financial markets is nice to have.
